I want to make a choke point character and im using a titans hammer

please only give me template feedback if you're familiar with this template

i have this so far

120 mace
120 parry
120 bushido
120 resist
105 chiv
100 tactics


i am considering dropping tactics and chivalry and putting in necro and ss since this is primarily a spawning character, and ill use wraith form for recall

If you take off chiv and tactics for necro and ss, then rock some EP, you'll do fine at spawns. Spamming wither and whirlwind with a titans hammer while in wraithform is ridiculous. From what i've seen though, this template rocks chaining despise, but for most of the other spawn areas, it's kinda hard especially since you can't teleport next to someone. I guess maybe scrolls would work, but you get the idea.

Yeah this is more of a 'take one for the team' kind of experiment. it really doesnt seem to have much use except for clusters of spawn and people, then it destroys everything in its path. I guess i wont get much use out of it except for despise though :/

Quick question, i added the bushido but im wondering- what for?

Evade and confidence is pretty much all you'd use it for. Hit evade, spam wither/whirl wind, you're a walking wrecking ball.

You can actually cycle wither and whirlwind, cause more than likely your swing speed is going to be low as hell, so while you wait for yourself to be able to take another swing with the hammer, you can throw in a wither real quick. If you can get your timing down, you'll be crushing spawn and anyone who comes within 3 tiles of you.

Ok, as I am not able to log into UO for a while, I cant see what's on a titan's hammer. I dont remember it off hand, what is special about the weapon that its worth a whole template for? does it have some nice hit area or something?

make sure you have 40 Lmc, 2 mana reg on all Armour.

the only reason i made my first template with the chiv is because its harder to make a good lrc suit than it is to make a dexxer suit, and i figured i could spam holy light instead of wither.. but i dunno i guess ill have to find some lrc mr2 good resist armor and try to work this

you dont need lrc because you only use necro for vamp form get some arcane boots for casting and you should be fine.you only need to cast again if you die.

Im not sure but if you really want chiv and you have the 4/6 to make it work this might work tho I would wait for others opinions first as this is a guess

I would rather go for the 4/6 holy light spamming with whirlwind. sounds like a ver damaging template then. Energy area, HL, and whirlwind. Problem would be MR or mana leech, as you will need high dex for the weapon speed, so your mana pool would be limited. You could get away with not using DI gloves, as the weapon has high DI already, so get mana+ and MR gloves, and mr suit items and you will be set.

Well you're saying I only use necro for vamp form, but I was told to gm it with 120 spirit speak for wither spam and wraith form, so now I'm a bit confused
