I have a dumb question probably, but is there a way to target people with out mousing on them and clicking. A key or macro that can be use effectively?

UO has built in, Target Next, Target Closest, Target Last. I'm pretty sure it does....

you will need 2 macros from the regular uo interface.

macro 1

Target next

macro 2

attack last.


use macro 1 to cycle through the possible targets on your screen..once you have the person targetted, spam macro 2.




Mage

you will need 3 macros from the regular uo interface.

macro 1

Target next

macro 2

attack last.


Macro 3

Last target.

one use use last target to drop the spell on the target u have attacked last with, you can start using UO assist last target with the mousewheel.

The other option is to make macro 2 a 2 line macro to go

attack last
last target


but if you do that you will automatically drop the spell you are holding precast on the target....possibly if you are out of range. That part is up to you.

No such thing as a terrible pvp archer. A half trained chimp can push the lightning strike button and follow some pixels around the screen...oh yeah, gotta hit confidence once in a while too.

The macros are great, only, I found that I have to great a need for others so I do it a little different these days, and it has proven just as fast.

First let me say, however, I have UOassist, and my target self and last target are on my Mouse wheel. Roll forward is my Target Self I use when I heal, which is my F5 button. My Last Target is my roll backward on my mouse wheel after casting whatever I am casting, like Poison, Energy Bolt, Explosion, Mana Drain, and Flamestrike, which are my offensive spells on macros F6-F10. I hit one of those, wait until cursor comes up, and roll back mounse wheel.

Now, to bring up the target the first time and "catch it." I just push down on control and shift at same time, like when you are trying to loot through bodies. It brings up all the character names real fast, but the tags don't move as fast or awkward like when theres lag. Also, if they are speed hacking, makes no difference, cause you just push down Control and Shift, and you click and drag there tag up, cast or attack them the first time, then just use your mouse wheel to hit them the rest of the time.

Is there a macro to bring up a corpse that you killed instead of searching the bones on a big pile?
