Tactics The Big Mystery!

From all the poeple I've talked to half say tactics isn't important in pvp the other half say its a must.
So..?
Which is it?
Someone Persuade me lol
Should I keep tacts on my warrior or not?

Depends on the template you're trying to run. Tactics only helps improve your base damage, and a couple of your special moves like Armor Ignore and Concussion blow. Other than that it doesn't do anything else. If you can fit something better on there like ninjitsu for example, then go ninjitsu.

conc blow isnt effected by tactics!

only the base damage.

i know from testing that w/ the right DI and weaps you can do 35 damage in one hit w/o even using a special.
so basically you waste all that skill for 35 damage ai's...when you can do the same damage on a non-special...and conc blow can do more than AI without tactics even.

i recently added tactics to my template and im wondering if i should keep it

i have swords parry bushido resist chivalry and tactics, the rest in med

before picking up med and tactics i had nox/ninjitsu
but i found that cleavers sucked with damage
people were curing my dp so fast, and i didnt care for ninjitsu

was tactics the way to go? my bokuto does a ton of damage now
i like it alot more than a poisoned cleaver.

Bahh, maybe I was thinking crushing blow. I don't remember, I dropped macing a whie ago cause it was lame city, although I wouldn't mind having a nice ubws mace for disarm and conc blow... but it would have to be better than my warfork which would be hard to find.

nerve strike damage is based off bush, not tactics.
Tactics will increase damage some most liekly off yer normal hits ...but the benefits from ninjtisu way outweigh the few extra points per damage per normal hit...considering you're liekly gonna be doing specials all the time anyhow.
nerve strike (after disarming and switching weaps) then deathstrike.
get a lesser hiryu too

some templates there is room for it...
ninja dp fencer might be able to squeeze some tactics in to make yer ai's do more damage, but most templates there are other more important skills and no room for tactics.
some temps there is but not many

Quite possibly the most stupid thing you've ever said, completely contradicting your self. Since the effects of Conc blow are damage based. The more damage, the more stam loss.

The bushido only determines how long you are paralyzed for, not the damage of the actual shot, thats weapon skill determined!!!!
