Spellweaving in PvP?

What do you use spellweaving in PvP for?

I haven't, but would imagine it would be best used as a support skill in group fighting.

Spellweaving would really depend on the pvper and the type of tactics he or she would use. Especially that spellweaving healing spell would come in handy at times.

SW is too slow to use directly in PvP. But its a good support tactic. My main PvPer has no skill in SW apart from the natural 20 (human character.) I use natures fury from time to time. I have used the healing, but its not great at lower levels. Natures fury is good for those house hiders, especially if you only use one pet slot for your mount.

The best feature of SW is the essence of wind. If you are fighting choke pointers, use it. It will lower their casting to 0/0. Their withers will take forever, and the dexers will have NO SSI. I have SW on my mage. He is a scribe/mage/SWer and does well when fighting. Our only competition on Baja anymore is known for being strictly a choke point guild, and this throws wrenches in their tactic. Its great for harrowers when they are trying to block off the harrower. Alot of times you will die if going into the choke point, but go in, sacrifice yourself, get off the essence of wind, and then send in everyone else, you will be at a great advantage.

I will have to let you know. I am creating a PvP character on Siege. Not sure if I will go red or not, but this is really my first non-thief character I've had since I started playing. Just from reading it sounds like a great skill to have 50 points in. To me, it seems like a support skill for my mage/necro...la

It does not lower casting to 0, it adds up to -13 Faster Casting. A Greater Heal can take up to 5 seconds or longer.

Hey JC. Any chance you might know where I might find a good guide for mage PvP tactics? This many years as a thief have really limited my learning how to fight. I am testing things out on monsters, but their lack of real AI won't happen when I run into a player. LOL, I still run away from reds like a frightend little girl, lol...la

Spar with someone that knows how to play mage over and over again.. only good way to learn.. typing combos wont really help you sadly

Keep target interupted, keep him poisoned.. sometimes its better to cast a offensive spell before your heal.. Timing is alot.
