PvP Fun at Despise: Pacific 6/15/07

First off I’d like to thank the Dev’s for fixing the line of sight problem on the Despise bridge. This fix has made pvp there much more interesting and hella fun! Thank you!

For those of you who don’t know much about Pacific, it has been dominated by FL for a very long time. But now it has become one of the places to pvp. With all the newcomers to Pacific, FL has their hands full – perhaps too full….

Last night Despise was hopping. First WMD and CoW worked it.

BTH_ came in to play.

As did s.G and FO_O.

The battle was long and hard, in the end WMD and CoW finished the spawn and got the heck out of there.

FL really hadn’t shown a presence so I went off looking for them. I found FL, FO_O and CD in Fire all making a rush to the mage room….

…creating a nice traffic jam.

FL ended up taking the island in Despise for themselves which FO_O, CD and s.G seemed to object to.

CoW and WMD decided to take advantage of the situation and pop a Harrower. They had one problem – no Oaks skull. But where there’s a will there’s a way…

That’s right NMD/CoW finished the Oaks with only one visitor (from FL), but other than that, nada.

Now to pop that Harrower. The Star Room was clear, but other skulls still had to be located.

A quick check on Despise found the other guilds still happily blasting and bashing each other.

The race was on – would NMD/CoW find the needed skulls and get them placed before FL finished the spawn? Or would FL finish the spawn and take over the Star?

Unable to break past the FL choke point and due to the lateness of the hour, the proposed Harrower was called off. *whew* But who knows what this weekend will bring!

Nice. So many familar names. Ho Chi Mihn (alias "Pubamoto") is on Pac is very interesting.
