PVP in 3D?

Anyone do it? There are rumors that if you pvp in 3D, that the engine is faster than 2D and you actually will move faster in game than if you were using 2D. Supposedly like a legal speedhack. Anyone have any evidence of this? I'll test it out myself, but was curious if anyone else heard of this before.

I lag more in 3D, so if there is a benefit to a faster engine it gets nullified by my connection.

One thing that I will say, is taht if you want to start running 3d, log in, run around a bit, log out, defrag, repeat a few times.

If youve been running one client for a while, the other will seem very slow at first, but continued use with dfraggin will (or at least seems to) help.

I agree with DiP tho...it seems to tax my connection more. Even on 6Mb cable.

3d rocks on my comp, plus i think it looks better then 2d

i don't lag at all and i use my T1 connection.

I used to pvp in 3d, but after a while, I just went back to 2d. I think it was when they introduced the buff bars, and they didnt work in 3d. My laptop handles the 3d like a champ, but I hated everytime I would switch between the 2 clients, something in UO makes all my spells, icons, everything disappear, and I have to re-do them. I used to try and log into 3d and clean up the icons, cause they stick, then go back to 2d, and gone.

I just log in to my 3d to rearrange stuff with my crafter, since he doesnt have any spells dragged out or anything, and its no loss.

i dont even use that buff bar
i wasnt able to figure out how to tell what i was buffed w/ cuz it just is wierd !!!! and colors

and i have not once ever ever played in 3d

I suppose I could now that I finally upgraded the 32 mb video card i used till a few months ago to a 128, lol...but why put more tax on the system then necisary.

Yea, I mean if your machine can handle it, I heard it goes faster than 2D. Obviously, I'm not sure on this cause I read about it elsewhere, but I was just curious if anyone else knows about this or not. If it's true, I might switch to 3D, cause as long as it's legal, any advantage you can get in pvp is something I'd look into
