Does anyone remember their old PvP temps? My guild is in a war and the rules are only crafted armor from a reg hammer and sewing kit can be used. The same goes for weps. Also, no jewels can be used. THX!!!!

I dont have a template to offer, however had to add that those rules sound very fair and fun. I would love to be in a war where the guild with the most money wasn't the winner just because of what they wear.

I also doubt you need to stick with an "old-skool" temp just because you have to use regular items and weapons.

You could very well use any PvP temp that's ever came out simply due to the fact that you won't have to "counter" other people's equipment with your own.

Was going to go around DPing and Lethal poisoning everyone and Ithought i could get more specials off w/ focus (I did not even know I actually stoned it somewhere...lol)

Oh yes and some people in the controlled war were such LOSERS.... they were speedhacking in a controlled war that was supposed to be for fun.....what is this game coming too

My OLD school character, like i'm talkin, october of 97 character was an archer/swordsman/thief/mage

this was before eval, before spell channeling, and when you could actually steal stuff from people. It was hilarious, I would get into a duel then do random steals on my opponent, and end up stealing their regs, or weapon, or arrows. This guy eventually became my first dread lord.

later on he became a dexxer, and when i mean later, like years later.

Remember my old school chars? Still use them. Running around with 7xGM mages, halberd-mages and basically old style warriors (5xGM, 2x110, very little scrolling) and whatnot. Almost all of my char templates are the same as they were back in p15 bar some minor scrolls to keep with the times.

Reflecting on it, modern day RPvP on Europa is a helluvalot like the old ways of PvP because there's no magic items and whatnot. Templates can be kept virtually unscrolled, combat is somewhat slower and people (especially mages) have to actually think about what they're doing with their mana because most RPers on Europa dont allow any magic items; thus you dont have 40LMC and 8MR backing you up, or flashy SC weapons that mean you can easily swap out wrestling. (Guild plug) Could join Europa RP and find out ;)
