ok ive been slowly working on this guy for pvp.

if everything was finished with current template it would be

115 fencing
110 tactics
110 anatomy
100 parry
100 healing
85 poison (it will be 80 poison 120 fencing if I ever get the scroll)
80 chivalry

He actually has these stats except the poison and chiv.
(currently 65 chiv 70something poison)

He has faired ok in 1 on 1 duels.
I wish there was room for resist, but poison seems to keep mages from casting anything but cures and heals when they arent fizzling anyway.. so that seems to be working as long as I am in 1-on-1 fights. This guy is screwed in a gank lol

Well now I want to add ninjitsu.

What do I drop?

I thought about dropping parry so I can put down the sheild and chug pots. But that puts me in an awful hurry to get the opponent dead if they are dexxer.

I thought about dropping tactics but I would have to figure a way to put more DI on the suit.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance

Straight away...I have a few chars without tactics, and i pvp without any DI, poison & deathstrike will be all you need!

Also I'd take 10 from Anat (or Chiv, keeping it at 70... maybe take 15 from it and make it 65) and put it into Parry.

The new pvp changes require you to have 90 tactics to do any specials other than infecting strike, and shadow strike.

Your template is pretty good for the upcoming changes.

One thing I noticed. They didn't nerf the 4/6 chiv templates much. All I need to do is add tactics which won't be a problem.

You'll see a lot more macers running around. If you got any high end mace weapons, they are going to become pretty expensive soon.

Necromancy is going to be come even more popular. You'll be seeing a lot of necro warriors(probably macers) in the future.

With the upcoming changes where you have to keep tactics for specials...
Do I understand correctly that infecing will not be affected by this?

I notice everyone says drop tactics and never anatomy...
is that because of the healing bonus?

Iflecting is a special move so in theory it would be effected...
And without anat, healing is really quite poo.. You get little damanage healed..

No infection strike will not be affected by the changes. They decided since you have to have poisoning for infectious strike to be useful that they would not tie it to tactics

see mine and cutter's nox/ninja/macer characters in this pvp forum. search a bit. its there. works good for me, and definately well for him. I have 80 tactics, so when I get home, I plan on using my new +5 from aging to 48mos, and 5 from somewhere else to go to 90, but plan on still using the template.

I can use 3.25s weapons at max speed with 90dex, and have plenty of mana for all the stuff I do
