That gives you 55 med, so you will have 5 MR from med and as long as you make up MR off of items (pendant of magi, hat of magi, barbed pieces, etc) or run in lich form with a wisp then that should work out just fine for you. You could eat a 120 necro scroll and wear the talisman +10 necro +5 ss.

Why would I need 120 as far as i can see I only need 105 to never fail strangle

absolutely nothing.
at 105 you will fizzle revenant once in a while. thats it
