![]() | Need advice on a Pvp temp Hey! Have a quest bout a chartemp since ive just pvpd with a nox char and it goes pretty well, but you always needs to be close to the enemie so I have a new idea bout a temp, but i want to ask the experts first bfore I start up the training if this will work out in the fields or if im thinking wrong. was thinking: Fenc 120 archery 120 tactics 90 anatomy 120 healing 90 poisoning 80 Res spells 120 This gives me exact 720 skill points, (+20 with my mark of travesty Arch or fenc +10 and tac+10) If this temp will work out, what kinda ring/brace should I go for and suggestions bout stats. I dont want to many macros since i cant play that much and cant be fast enough to use many macros so I dont want to be a mage of any kind. |

I would drop Anatomy to 100 and use the extra 20 so that I'm not relying on items UNLESS while using the +skill items you can still get to near max HCI/DCI/LMC/Resists. Stats would have to be somewhere around 100 Str (or enough to get you to atleast 100 HP w/items) 140 Dex (mostly for bandages as it's your only healing source) rest in Int ![]() ![]() Thanks again Maddux! ![]() | Re: Need advice on a Pvp temp true, but it maybe will work with dual wep skills. Think Ive gotta try it, otherwise I can stone one of the skills for later. since i cant afford a +20 arch and res spells and have to stick with 115 each atm maybe if dropping in anatomy to 100 and have a ring with +15 (anyskill) and hopefully high in some of dci/hci/lmc and/or di i get 55 points over, put that on chiv and when money rolls in get 20 arch, res spells in the future, if its needed. I have 115 res spells on my nox and he is doing well out in the fields. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Need advice on a Pvp temp Good point. Like I said, I wanted to try it 'cause it does have it's benefits (dual weaponskills). You could do that, as long as your Fencing is still 120 (else you'd have to bump Poisoning). 115 Resist spells is pretty efficient enough, and if you need to sacrifice from anywhere (after taking Anat down to 100) then leaving Resists at 115 shouldn't hurt. And I'd highly recommend trying to squeeze in some Chiv if at all possible as you suggested. ![]() ![]() Thanks again Maddux! ![]() | Re: Need advice on a Pvp temp 50 or 55 chiv should be enough even if you still can fizzle chivspells, but you got conc wep and a few other goodies so it would be a little help. Dont takes as much mana and skillpoints either ![]() Also be using pots for gheal, gcure, str, dex and grefresh. The hardest prob I can come up with now is to get good armor and weps when Im not that rich right now, think Ive have to do like I did once bfore to just go out and fight with crappy armor and wep and on the way try to collect piece after piece by getting or buy cheap from friends or others and after a while you should have decent armor and weps, while doing that you have at least learned your char pretty well and learned pvping much more ![]() Last edited by bugger; 24th February 2008 at 07:26 AM. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Need advice on a Pvp temp Yeah, learning and getting better equipment on the go isn't a bad way to go. That way you learn how to survive while using crappy equipment (my first PvP suit I built was hideous, whether looking at it for it's looks, or it's stats, it was pretty bad, but paved the way to make things easier with better equipment) so when you do get better equipment it gets easier. I never used pots though, so you should be able to survive better with crappy equipment. If nothing else, MArties (Heart of the Lion, Gloves of the Pugilist, etc.) are decent enough if pieced together with mediocre equipment and are easily obtained/cheaply bought. ![]() ![]() Thanks again Maddux!
