![]() | Re: Interesting new temps... With 80 poisoning you will need 120 fighting skill to use the infectious strike special. Without Tactics you wont be able to use the other specials (no big deal really). If you decide to go Tactics I would get a kryss: Mage - 120 Eval - 120 Resists - 110+ Fencing - 120 Poisoning - 80 Tactics - 90+ =640 skills Depending how old you are you have 80 more you can put into med...or more tactics based on if you are going to use AI. If you are only going to be poisoning drop tactics completely for med or chiv (good against necros) Poisoning really isnt as effective on a mage as it is a warrior. Mage specials are a bit harder to get off now and instead of casting on someone you will be trying to run and hit them. I would be interested in seeing a tactics/archer/mage. I think this would be more viable now. With maybe running shot or a good xbow for concussion and mortal? Let me know if anyone has tried this. It would be nice for field fights for dismounts as well In fact I might try this on my next character.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Interesting new temps... my 1st character that I ever made for pvp still works and is a hard hitting chiv/bush axer. 110 anat 90 bush 80 chiv 90 heal 120 swds 115 parry(will add 5 more now that my char is 48mos) 110 tactics i use a quick and hard hitting ornate axe/hatchet/cleaver combo. this character is great for spawning and can stay alive in most situations. the axe i have has all 3 leeches over 40% ssi 25, di 48, and 1 hit spell(been a while since i looked at it) hatchet has 2 leeches, ssi, di, fc1, hit spell. no resist, but heals pretty quick and usually fights through the damage. use petals and pots when needed. i have used this character through every patch in the last 3 years and it still survived all the gimp templates through the ages, minus the AI/WOD BS. Nobody survived that crap.
