Iam coming back from an extended 4 year vacation (i quit when trammel came out)


Whats the point of pvp if you dont do it in fel?

Not knocking anyone, but I am coming back to this game from games like DDO and WOW where the only thing you can lose is EXP and thats if your like 9 and cant type.
The reason I am coming back should be painfully obvious by now.. I like the option being around of getting killed by someone/something better and losing your stuff because of it....

I am kinda surmising that these people dont go out with 100m worth of armor and weapons for the off chance they get ganked in fel?

So is there PVP still in fel? or is a ghost town? Iam still updating my client =]

Insurance meaning that they lose the item...just get gold as compensation or?

i remember when bless first came out, i think veterines got them or? well anyway a blessed kat of vanq went for a lot back then.....

So is the economy of UO now screwed up?

And I dont ask just because of 600g blessed items but because it seems like a lot has been done to keep people from getting upset at loss....which takes away the loss...which only leaves....gain....

Some of my most memorable experiences about this game are when I mined for 8 hours straight carrying the ore around just to get killed by someone and then watch them try to walk drop ore to their house

before bags of sending and bless and the like obviously...there was always something to lose....

God i wish the dl would finish so i could stop chatting and start playing lol
