How to work off murder counts and best place to do it?

Finally trying to turn my red back blue but been years since i had to work off counts. Need some advise on how and where to work them off. Dead or alive ?etc.

Takes a long time, you could always do mundane things like train skills, or go collect resources.

Or just sit at the Yew gate (normally enough people running around to burn off counts unattended).

The only time I burned off counts was when I changed up a character's entire template,(and not really intentional, I turned red as soon as the char was done) I used that time to train poisoning, ninjitsu, macing, hiding, stealth. My house was kinda out there north of yew, so not a whole lot of traffic up there while working stealth/hiding outside the house. I burned off 7 counts while doing all this. you can always do what Dip said and burn them dead, at yew gate, or wherever the shard's pvp at gate site is. just make sure to keep the journal open so you dont get logged off after a few minutes. make sure its a time when people are around too.

Luna gate is always full of people burning counts on Sonoma. I may have burned a count or two myself there.

he's red already magister ^^ I don't think luna's an option for him

brit or yew gate seem to be good suggestions

Doh - I missed the part where he was already Red!

My bad.

You could always try a boat and sail out to the middle of nowhere. You can set up macros in KR that will keep you active for hours at a time. Maybe an entire server day, but I haven't pushed the envelope.

and luckily in that instance you can still burn counts dead ^^

Exactly what these other people have suggested.

Wherever your local pvp gate is, go there dead.

I burned off about 50 counts once just logging my guy on in the mornings and then left him sitting there all day til server down.

Took about 4 months to burn all them counts.... of course he's back up to 20 right now so I'm wondering why I wasted my time doing that.

Despise enterance in the town is also a good spot, but yew gate (or other pvp gate) is generally your best bet. After your blue just sit by luna gate.
