How does this temp work

I like to play pure mage and think of such a temp

120 mage
120 medi(or 100)
120 eva
120 wrest
120 resist

for the last skill i think of poison but since every pvper have 100+ resist i guess its kinda useless w/o a weapon skill

what do you guys suggest for the last skill and is it possible to success with pure mage in pvp since the mage spells dont hit that much to cap resists

100 inscription is what you want as your final skill, for the SDI bonus.

pure mages work in pvp, but they're very hard to use in the open field.

This is generally the only template people use in duels as well.

actually good template but poison to me is worthless unless its wep skill i recomend 120 parry my mage has wrestling parry at 120 and also 45 deffence chance increase and warriors cant hardly touch me but since my suit is built for lmc/int bonus and dci mages totally kick my arse for lack of mana reg

I'm finishing up building a mage just like you list, but using the inscription instead of the poisoning. Everything is 120's except inscription (100) and wrestling is at 102.5. Listen to everyone else, that template rocks as a pure mage. GM Inscription=10% spell damage increase.

GM inscription=20% SDI
+ items cap (15) = 35% SDI

pure mages rocks, for duels and field.
