Alrighty, I'm going to start my first dexxer today. In the long run, what stats am I looking for when my toon is complete (str, dex, int) and I am thinking about going fencing with the weapon skill. Any advice is welcome! Thanks in advance!

Well first off, welcome to the world of dexxer pvp..hehe.. take a look throughout the pvp forum, there are a ton of dexer templates spread throughout the last few topics. I dont remember them all of the top of my head, but I would suggest if possible, fitting poisoning on it. You wont be disappointed. With my dexxers, I try to go atleast 125+ on str, 150dex on healing dexxers, and 90dex on non healing(guys who use under 3s speed weaps, and heal with chiv/bushido/pots). Stack the rest in mana. Try to get a good balance of hci/dci. Since mana will most likely be low(hopefully ATleast 60) get as much LMC as you can. I stack AS much HPR on my suit as will fit. MR is also pretty important since you will not have med, and mana leech sucks now. Those are some basics I could come up with for now. Hope it helps some..

I posted this in another thread just recently, but thought I'd put it in here as well for help on a simple template.


If you're new to pvp easiest template to use is the nox fencer. It's a very simple template, but it can be incredibly effective and deadly. Assuming 720 skill points this is the template:

120 fencing
80 poisoning
120 resist
120 parry
100 anatomy
100 healing
80 chiv or tactics (depends on if you want max damage, then go tactics, but if you want more versatility go chiv. I personally like chiv.)

Rune beetle carapace, fey leggings(human), either mace shield glasses/folded steel glasses/spirit of the totem, totem of the void, a nice HCI/DCI shield, then barbed gloves/sleeves/gorget. Jewels that work up ur HCI/DCI are a must, as well as maybe some extra resists. You may also throw in a jackal's collar and a stormgrip if you can afford it. Grab yourself a nice kryss and a warfork and you're ready to go. Deadly poison the kryss, and watch people fall. Stay human for the extra regen.

Have atleast 110 str, 140 dex, then rest int.


For your current template, I'd drop tactics, and put on resist, and drop focus to put on poisoning. You can use the ancient samurai helm, but u gotta try to get a rune beetle for the MR and LMC. Fey Leggings(human) for the DCI, not necessary but nice.

Basically try to max HCI/DCI, run in and deadly poison, then do an armor ignore, then another deadly(assuming they cured the initial one), and repeat. If you get disarmed, run around to avoid getting hit then rearm and repeat. It's very simple, but you'd be surprised how well it does.

I went hybrid on my main (Swords,Necro,SS,Resist,Poisoning,Ninjitsu,Chiv)

Still getting used to it 4/6 chiv heals, necro spells, poison and deathstrikes.

Though I find on the Average a Fencer/Archer template is most effective. I was 2 hit killed by one last night.

And yet we still owned you at the spawn raid last week. O well. Hey Lefty

Anywho, I love my archer as everyone knows, but I'm making a very nice Mage at the moment. Can't wait until he's finnished. My theif is coming along nicely as well.
