hello everyone out there, and how do ya do?
i've been playing UO for some years and always sought out to be a PVMER..
until about a year ago i became a pvper..i made a archer had fun, than got bored and decided to make a Swords pvper. question is: whats the best temp out right now?

as of right now this is my skill

well i can share with you what im doing if that helps

first off, drop focus completely. i hear from everyone that its useless

second, what was reccomended to me, put anat and heal on a stone and pick up chivalry. try to get as much fc/fcr as possible, because if you can get 4/6 then you can heal like crazy with it

raise bushido and add parry, and i think youll have yourself a really popular template. most people put the extra points in med.

now let us await the ninjitsu fiends as they attack my judgement.

6/4 templates own, but it is very hard to find the proper gear to compete. I have some insane gear and even with that I have trouble sometimes competing with other 6/4 guys, but it is definitely a solid overall template for pvp, and even for pvm. It takes a while to build and properly manage the items, but once you start getting a hold of some decent stuff, you'll love it. It's a mana heavy template on a dexxer so it's kinda tough sometimes, but it's still great.

Obviously, in a field fight, ninjitsu owns, but if you're in a closed area dueling, I take ninjitsu off for 120 tactics. Armor Ignores are much nicer with tactics on than without.

My jewlery is part of my suit. But I'm all 60's already..some high than others..would it make a big difference..?
And how long would it take to 110 chiv? And any suggestions?

Hah also! I wanna try ninja out. I'm hearing great things about it. But how do I raise that, and how long will that take?

If I were you I would go with this:

120 swords
120 parry
110 resist
100 tactics
100 anatomy
90 healing
80 poison


That would be a pretty fun template, IMHO. I've never tried it, I personally run:

120 swords

main weaps is a butcher or skinning knife to disarm
then switch (equip last) to bokuto and nerve strike
then hop off hiryu, while toggleing deathstrike and saying all kill...
target the all kill w/ last target...hop back on, finish him off w/ another nerve (or he runs and dies from the ds)

-best swords template atm for pvp.

ep is key
evade, confidence (confidence is nice when you get disarmed...)

run if disarmed since you'er parry is negated, and hit confidence and aids...chug when needed.
I die mebee once a week lol and then it usually to a screwup and guardwhacking.

4/6 casting...only need 80+ dex, ep not rlly so important on this one...

right now only 2 viable meelee temps right now imo...
on this temp u could of course exhcance sworsd for mace or fencing based off personal preference...

i thought for fast casting in pvp it caps out at 2/6 even if you have 4/6 you still cast at 2/6

2/6 for magery, necro, and spellweaving but 4/6 for chiv as long as your magery is below 70.

I am having fun with this template atm. My suit isn't quite where I want it but I am still doing pretty good. I do have problems with the hiyru riding nervestriking swordsman.

If You Have 4/6 Chiv And Like 60 Magery Can You Cast Low Circle Spells At A 4/6 Rate?

yes, and it's actually 80. 79.9 and you can cast at 6/4 rate with magery.
