Ok i want to run a weapon skill/chiv/nox/parry/nijitsu/tactics/resist char,give or take a skill, still debating on that..... now thing is i have never played a warrior without healing as a back up at least and i really need advice as to maybe some key armor pieces, and stats i should run, i understand i need to be 4/6 casting and alot of MR pieces but was hoping for some other armor/item tips...i do have an orny and inquis but that is about all the arts but am willing to buy whatever...any suggestions even negitive would be greatly appreciated

get med also for the extra mana and lose this inquis and get yourself an nice 1/2 or 1/3 with hci so you can get some regen on your gloves

read a bit further in the threads in the pvp section. Cutter and myself have posted a few of these templates in there.

Med even if i can max out my mana reg with items? the cost of the suit isn't an issue i am just not sure on the best (if any) "manditory" (for lack of a better word) items....like HotM,Totem, mace shield glasses or any others etc etc that helps make the stat requirments, that fits this type of build....

You want to try to max out lmc as close as possilbe (40), void, rune bettle carapace is what some peeps use. Either mace and sheild or spirit of the totem (I prefer this for the hci), but if you use rune bettle carapace and totem might be hard to get good resist since the resist are kinda poor. Seems like 10mr is the number to shoot for as well but like Bo said there are plenty of post on the topic.

Thanks, sorry if it has been ask 235153465 times....yes there are alot of posts about the templets but very few with specific armor/items that the people use to run a templet like this....sadly i can't see 90% (being a work comp) of the pictures that get posted on the forums like in the "post your suit" so i am not sure what they are wearing....was hoping for some base stats too and then what items people used to get them up to a playable templet.....yes i read alot of posts that people posted their before and after stats but no one really mentions how they acheived them besides pots which i don't see how a pot can get you from a base of 67 to say 140 .....i will keep searching though being i am at work and it is very slow atm....was just being lazy i guess by asking for ideas

copenhagen, I have indeed posted my suit with all the mods and stats, along with the template. it should be in a thread called something like "that macer/ninjitsu suit i was talking about". The suit is probably out of date at the moment though, as I have been off UO for a few months being in the mideast. But the general idea still stands. poison, deathstrike, holy light all over their asses

Most of the armor is barbed or horned armor with lmc or mr or both (mi is good to). Not too many arties on this template. Like I stated before void, quiver (for dci), cc, either totem or mace and sheild, if you have enough resist rune bettle, ring and brace with 1/3, high hci and dci.

As far as stats try to get close to 100 mana (not int) rest in str and dex. If you use grt agility and grt str pots that is +20 to each stat for only 2 min if you have 0ep. Gonna have max hci and dci as well (as close as possilbe)

What I was doing was using a weapon that was at 3s or lower(butchers, kryss, warfork maybe?), and having 60+ stam, that brought me down to 2.5s, and then i was able to have 110 mana, with 10 or so mr, and like 133str.

Thanks alot for the info and your time, guess i need to burn some barbed kits when i get home and hope for the best....thankfully there are soulstones now and i won't have to re-work a char if i can't hang without healing....

Rock the orny and inquis and get yourself a nice FC ring with HCI/DCI. Nice weapon with high hci, then a nice FC shield would work too. I rock fey leggings and then the anthropologist glasses, rune beetle carapace, 2 MR sleeves, gorget and you're good to go.

I run a very similar template with 39 hci, 40 dci with 12 MR 40 LMC, and I do fine with mana. Great open field template, classic 4/6 chiv.
