![]() | Changes to ninjitsu??? Anyone have factual info on this? I hear rumors they may make certain changes...such as a delay on going into animal form similar to mounting an ETHY...OR inability to morph immediately after being dismounted. The morph after dismount thing wouldnt effect me...but I like to play my red ninja archer sometimes....and pretty much run around in wolf form, unmorph to dismount/deathstrike, then quickly wolf form again I would be so sad if they make this not a viable template anymore =-* btw im not a stealther nor a gimp-ass bushido heres my current temp archery 120 ninjitsu 115-120 (not done) Anat-115 currently, might go down to gm magicresist 110 healing 90.3 hiding 80.6 Chivalry 63-65 Focus-7.2 arrow down -note theres no tactics, no bushido...its a pure dismount template all I do, geared towards team combat. Anyone know if this is true tho? they making it so u cannot go into form quicky? |

My Mood: | Re: Changes to ninjitsu??? I'd say rumor for the time being.. Unless its posted by a Dev on the Dev board, its typically somebody's wishlist getting misinterperted as fact. I hope they don't nerf animal form either.. if they do, I think it would simply be to prevent us Ninjaars from getting the 20 point free heal going back and forth into wolf form. ;) |

Is this intentional....do I just need higher tracking now or something? (i had it locked at like 2.1 orsomething only but it worked on anyone w/o hiding [pretty much) |

My Mood: | Re: Changes to ninjitsu??? I was under the impression that 20 was needed in Tracking for it to be consistently successful as far as Death Strike goes. I used Death Strike on two people last night and it functioned normally.. my tracking is at 30... |

![]() | Re: Changes to ninjitsu??? well i figured it out tracking no longer adds damage to DS HOWEVER Deathstrikes stack now Stack 2 deathstrikes on somebody and watch them run and it pop them for close to 70 |

Well, the fact that everyone is busy looking for the easy way out or the cheap kill instead of practicing and becoming better with their pvp skills is what I mean by gimp. Odds are that now that they found this out accidentally, they will continue to use it in order to "nuke" players. Same reason they still use archers and WoD, instead of taking it off their templates to compete. does that make sense ? Sometimes I dont get my point accross all that well. ![]() |

![]() | Re: Changes to ninjitsu??? Im confused, you saying stacking DS' is gimp? If Im not mistaken it was an intended change...and to be honest, with tracking you were able to do 60 damage DS. Stack 2 and it does 60 damage. Basically it costs more mana to do the same amount of damage and thats if ya can get 2 off ina row fast enough. I fail to see where this is at all gimp. It takes skill and you need to time the DS right so they will run or it does barely any damage at all. What IS gimp is Nyraxil/ARmour Ignore which is basically insta-death off of one attack. ps. Spyder-I do it on catskills. TRy it out man...do 2 dethastrikes ona buddy and have him run, it should do 60 damage if not more I think you can stack more than 2 even... |

Actually, it was posted that death strike would stack in publish 32: "Death Strike is now capped at 60 damage if the target moves and 20 damage if the target doesn’t move, with 66% of the damage determined by the ninjitsu skill of the attacker and 33% of the damage determined by the number of tiles the target was tracked for. Chained Death Strikes can raise these caps up to 70 and 30 damage, respectively. " I think they screwed it up somewhere though. I'm getting hit for 40 to 60 with death strike without moving.... |
