Chance to hit modifiers,

Last night I lost a haphazard duel to a neon Luna banksitter. Sammy helm, this marty, that marty... The character had 120 parry, 45% dci and bushbush.

I was not hitting him.

With 45% hci and 120 real weapon skill, I was not hitting this pigment-splattered clown in front of me while he "lol"ed away hitting me with mortal strike.

What am I missing as far as _anything_ that affects chance to hit? Intelligence? Strength? Or am I just at the mercy of the 539 "don't hit me" bonuses in the game anymore?

Nothing, should have hit him.

Unless he had Hit Lower Attack on you, then your pretty muched screwed.

Hit lower attack is frankly insanely overpowered.

You can have 120 melee skill and decent HCI, and HLA will make you miss 3/4 or more of time.

I fought a duel against an HLA warrior for about 80 or 100 bandages (that long), and I almost couldn't hit her even with a 120 skill warrior. Between her HLA and her disarms, I may as well have been on a newbie char.

tips:

1-allways disarm someone u are having trouble hitting
2-get hit lower defence on atleast one or all of yer weaps

and yes, perhaps he had hit lower attack on his weap....top two things are key tho or u will miss like 9/10 vs a guy w/ high dci

lol i know, people who pvp just cry nerf so often when they get beat by something in game that it gets to the point where I just start suggesting them to go find a new game or shut up. Either way, HLD/HLA are one of the more useful things in the game, and i love them ;)
