If you plan on not switching weapons in a fight, I'd go with the first.

If you plan on carrying more than one weapon, I'd go with the second for HLD, Nerve Strike, hope the HLD goes off, then switch to different weapon.

Both.

The reason being this, Use the first one as primary.

Then when you come upon a parry character, switch to the second on. and hope the HLD goes off. But I prefer to wear mace n shield glasses, I get 30% HLD from them, so a weapon mod on armor

Re: Which is the better PVP bokuto....or neither?

They're both decent, but fireball breaks the paralysis of the nerve strike if it hits, that's why people look for harm or lightning, cause the damage variable hits first before the nerve, while fireball and magic arrow hit after the nerve.

hit lower defense is nice, but you can just wear mace and shields to get that effect for the first one.

Hey Merc, I do wear M&S glasses so I agree on that. What about this other bok:

HLD 38%
Hit Harm 46%
HLA 30%
DI 35%

Just picked this one up and based on your comments with the fireball, thought it would be better, even with a little less DI. I have mana and MR up the wazoo, so I tend to run a lot of specials.
