120 resist vs. 115 resist

So I just picked up a 120 resist scroll, I am currently at 115 resist. Will the 5 point gain be worth the use of it, or would it be better to stay at 115 and sell it for better equipment to use? The character in question is a standard chiv/mace/nox/ninj

Since your running with Resists in the first place and not an item junkie, I'd say use it.

well, the character is whored out with junk (running 64/70/70/70/70 MR 12, dex +25, int+ 15, str + 13 w/ 3/6 casting). I am in need of better legs to cover the physical, if I got that covered would the resist still be necessary (I have never paid much attention to the difference of damage between resist and a suit built for resists)? If it is not necessary I can drop it for another skill I suppose to round it off.

kind of depends. I always found that in most cases, 115 in any combat/mage skill is more than sufficient. my warrior only uses gm resist and it works good enough for me. But to be honest, I haven't pvp'd in alongggg time. I use my old pvp dexxor for pvm purposes now but I dont really see a big difference.

I run with only gm resist (89 base...brace adds 11) on my swordsman, and allways have a trapped box.
However, he is scrolled out to 120, and only reason he isnt 120 is lack of room.

Both other chars I actively play...a necro/wrestle mage, and a scribe/ninja mage are 120 resist...

btw, i carry a box ALLWAYS even if i am 120 resist. it is a must

It's the closest one can get to god-mode (with the help of other items/proggies), so I guess it's a must...
