100-110 resist Difference?

my current template is exactly this:
120 Tactics
115 Fencing
105 Chiv
100 Resist
100 Anat
84 Hiding
81 poisoning

i have 110 resist saved and was thinking about dropping my chivalry to 95 to acquire my 110 resist. is the extra 10 worth it in pvp? Hiding and poisoning is a must and i gotta say, i really like this char alot. i can stay alive and with 100 mana and 12 mana regen heal for quite a while. but maybe more resist? lets hear some opinions

Ok, in pvp you will not need anything more than 80 chiv, you can even get away with 70. Drop the tactics down to 110-115, put fencing up to 120. When I had hiding on my pali, I ran with 60, and did just fine. I didnt notice much a difference between that and the 80 I had on another char. If you're not gonna have healing, you could potentially drop the Anat too. The DI you can make up with items. Maybe replace the anat with parry...

at 70-80 chiv u will fail holy light very often, in which case i use ALOT when i am disarmed instead of running like a girl. going that low is not an option to me. i will not drop tactics, and i didn't notice a difference in fencing from 100-115 so i dont see the point in 120. and third i hate shields. if i come across a parrier i simply don't bother.

u didn't notice a difference from 60-80 in hiding? i was gm.. never failed.. at 80 i fail non stop. its quite annoying.

u did not answer my question but i think i am gonna do it anyway. more resist def can't hurt and 105 chiv is way to much. any more input would be nice!

well at 105 chiv you will cast your HL 100% of the time, yes. When I was building my chiv/mage, and was around 95, i noticed fails, but not soo much that it got me killed. But having parry and DCI will help you defend while unarmed. Plus with a shield, you have the potential to add some more HCI/DCI and FC1. Its all up to you tho..

I only failed hiding when in groups, but when I got like 8 tiles away, I never failed and it was pretty reliable.

I have noticed some para field walkthrough difference from 100 to 110 and if people para you it will not last very long at all. When getting cursed, it will do less dropping of your stats of course, at 110. But as a dexer, you may not have the room for 110, and may suffer some damage output, but there is a difference. Most people say that 120 is the only way to go, but I havent gone above 110 yet. i am scrolled to 115 on 1 char and will go there to see what kinda difference.

Like I said, its all up to you, but having 120 weapon skill I have noticed alot less whiffing. I go 120 swds, and 115 tactics. But thats just me. I also run a swdsman with no resist, and set it up for power output rather than curse/para bait. The hated trap box will fix that, I know people hate them, but it works and saves you a whole skill spot. I use resist on all my mages tho, as there is room for it. My suggestion is to play around with it and see how it works for you. Remember tho, at 120 weap skill, and 80 poison, you will succeed at that DP more often, having 200 total points between the 2.

or drop tactics for healing.

gm anat/90.1 heal

or neither...
my opinion.

if 4/6 chiv you dont need the healing as much but i see no reason to have anat w/o healing whats it add a point or 2 of damage per hit?

I'd say 110 atleast, if you can get to 115-120 resists, go for it.

Yah having anatomy without healing is like having eval without magery. Completely useless. You can completely ditch anat if you dont plan on using healing..

Just wondering myself what the difference in GM Chiv to 105 chiv?? I mean that 5pts help that much? If not drop to gm chiv put that extra 5 in fence or even resist. Heck put it in resist and get to 115. Then there wouldnt be a question at all.

is that all anat does is 1-2 points per hit??? what could i use at 100 points in its place? and don't say parry!. Oh an i carry a shield. just no parry
