I likey a lot.
I personally like the colors like that, the black and gold. But for old people like merth

(don't beat me up, I couldn't help myself *hugz*) maybe we could have a skin like what his old eyes need also? I myself would like to see what a page like that would look like because right now I have this awful image of rainbow forums...ewww lol.

I'm very excited for this to happen! I think it's such a great opportunity to expand our awesome community and make uof even better.

Just a quick update

I won't be switching to the new layout just yet
Vbulletin is releasing a newer version of the forum software we use, which I intend on upgrading to, when it's gold.
Currently it's in Beta 4 state, so there's probably 3 more stages to go, before it gets released as Gold. (Beta 5?, RC1, RC2 then gold)
It'll bring with it some nice features like customisable profile pages and other pretty toys.

Quick update

The new software that runs here hasn't been released as gold yet
It's still in Beta, although is progressing along ok
It's currently in Beta 6 stage, so there's still RC1 and RC2 to go, then finally, Gold.

I'm going to be working on the site a bit tomorrow, which will include..

1) Changing the guild/personal forum application menus, to include extra options (Requests for additional forums, removing forums, adding/removing mods etc)
2) Changing the guild application menu - Adding the option to request WoW/Lotro guilds
3) Adding additional forums to the Lotro and WoW areas.

Heh oops, I completely forgot about the menus up top, but I'm going to wait, given the large amount of changes coming to the new forum software
