A poll: Mandatory passwords on private forums.

Just a quick poll

For those who have private forums, would you object if they HAD to be password protected?

If so, let us know why

If they are a private forum it would only make since to me to have them require a password in order to get in, it's seems to me to be the safest way to keep it private.

I don't have a private forum, but certainly wouldn't object of those who do if they wished them to be accessible only by those with permission.

The main reason is enhanced security

The other reason is the default permissions based system the forum, while it's nice to have, isn't great for total security
If you have a password and the permissions get messed up, least that way, a user still couldn't access the forum unless he or she knew the password.

Why else would they be private if not to keep others from seeing what is typed in them? People need to stay out of where they don't belong and without a password they will always be snooping.
