Mine would have to be my fathers really funny story. This happened Pre Trammel across the way from the East Trisnic bank at the forge. My dad was at the forge smelting ore and was invisible and had a packhorse next to him to store his ore he was smelting. During the time he was doing this another player came in to use the forge as well. I guese he figured it was safe to drop some of the ore on the ground because thier was nobody in the forge. So my dad picked it up and placed it in the packhorse. The player then commented to the packhorse "HEY" that's my ore dont touch it. The player then placed some more ore on the floor and my dad placed on the pack horse again. The player then turned the pack horse and said "HEY" I REALLY MEAN, DONT TOUCH MY ORE! Well the player placed the ore again on the floor and my dad placed it in the horse backpack again. AT this point the player was totally annoyed and said thats it! I'm going to kill you Horse, and proceeded to try and flame strike the horse. Well as he soon realised he was in town and killing blues is a NO NO, and he was promptly guard wacked. He then got ressed came back and said you darn horse you win and promplty ran out of the forge never to be seen again.

First day of young status introduced in game and one player trying to kill my young character. And after hitting me for 30 seconds with doing no damage, asking me if I was a god.

Oooh, I want to play.

I decided I was going to go on a Quest to visit all of the shrines, on foot and unarmed. So I stripped down to short pants, got out my map, my ship, and my sextant, and spent an entire Saturday trekking. I had just finished with the last one on the continent - Sacrifice - and was heading back to Minoc, threading my way through the houses. (This was before Trammel, and also before the house placement rules changed to make it possible to walk between houses).

I was walking down a row when a Dread Lord popped out and yelled, "Corp Por!"

That took me down to about 2/3 health, so I stopped and turned to face him.

"Corp Por!"

...ow. "Dude, I have nothing on me, feel free to kill me if you want to."

"Get the $#@! off my lawn!"

Oh. "Yessir!"

I may be Valorous, but I ain't dumb enough to argue with a cranky homeowner with a shotgun. I ran like a rabbit.



What are UOForum members funniest moments ?

The funniest thing was when I was still a trammie. Me and my mate used to play on two computers next to each other. It made playing the game much more fun.

But anyway, we decided we wanted to go and grief some people......we were bored one sunny afternoon. So we went and joined a guild. It was an RP guild, but we weren't interested in RP. We joined, after being sworn in, and taking an Oath and all the other RP things you have to do whn you join. We didn't get logged with butter paddles though - thought that was the important one.

Anyway after being guilded we were just chatting to the GM and Co-GM. The GM said that he had to go answer the front door in RL. My mate looked at me, I knew exactly what he was going to do. He jumped off his pet "All Kill, Bloodrain make 'em bleed" When I saw that I followed suit. THe Co-GM was down, at that very moment the GM returned to his computer to see his dead comrade, we set on him. He made it out of the house, but the bleed attack soon killed him. We set off out the house at a run, we ran and ran and ran, I'm not sure why we ran. There's not much damage 2 ghosts can do. But we ran anyway. When we eventually stopped, I turned to look at my mate. We burst out laughing, I laugh so hard I fel out my chair. It was so funny, they had trusted us, and we befriended them so easily.
