A Wooden Snake?

Last night some friends and I were playing around in fel, when a small snake snuck up upon us. We paid it no mind, until I looked at it. It read:
A snake
Oak

Wha?

I didn't get a screen shot of it. Someone killed it and the 'oak' title remained on the snake corpse. We tried skinning it but nothing oak came off it.

This was in the middle of no where, not by a dungeon or anything. I think the closest thing may have been Trinsic, I am not sure.

Anyone else seen these wooden live snakes?

I heard of a few things like that when ML first came out... things that were the colour of a wood type being labled as it. I thought they'd fixed it though- but I probably just imagined that

If I where to guess, I'd say someone with an oak bow used poisened arrow and that's what you got.
