They are dropping so many to put an END to camping and fix the economy.
Lend an ear friend, for this is a twisted, tortous path in a Dev's brain.
Now, how does this all FIT?
What happens when you die, say in a champ spawn, or in an ML boss instance with a cursed artie? You have to be able to re-equip don't you? So you will carry a SECOND set of armor in your pack at all times, DOUBLING your normal weight. Thereby DECREASING the amount of gold sent to the bank through BOS, eventually sending all players back to the days when we prepared for hours for a one hour crawl.
Remeber, PoT costs about 1K per charge. YOur profit margin starts to slip if you are sending significantly less cash to the bank per charge.
Now for the gold sink.
SInce you carry all this extra, unused gear in your pack, you will be charged more per death than current (2400 to 6K is the average now, watch it climb to 10K per death!). Plus, there is the expected benefit of multiple deaths per instnce trying to get your body back. Soon, you will be losing WEEKS worth of insruance in a single boss run!
How EVIL, TWISTED are these dev's, to be SO forward looking?
