I started at the release of AOS, as before that, I was over in Japan having never heard or thought of playing a game like this.. I was more into the Unreal Tournament, Quake 3, Tom Clancy games at that time, and never thought about playing a game where your character's life was longer than the current game going on right now....

And here I am, 3 years later...

It depends what year it was, but I can assure you, I was in Diablo, either 1 or 2.

Like Cobra I spent many a hour chewing the fat over a hot forge North of Brit bank....

You felt as though you were someone back then other players coming and asking for 'their personal' smith for that special weapon or armour they needed.

nowadays it all seems so lonely...I have tried a couple of guilds but they folded... I now mainly travel alone helping others I come across and looking for help off of them

I have tried spending an hour a night at the same forge since the New Year (work permitting) ....I have had some nice comments about a Smith being there again. One night we had THREE ....YES [color="Red"]THREE[color="Red"] Smith working the forge at the same time.......the bad news is that I have only made two weapons and repaired one standard sword in all that time.

Can we go back to pre AoS?.....I would like to if only to be wanted again:embarasse

Agreed I feel the same way.

You can never totally recreate the past as those folks you know won't be there. All you can do is move forward and make new memories with new friends.

ahhh the good ol days. (yes im one of "those")

i spent most of my time in shame fighting earth eles or trying to "hit the top" with my friend. thats the term we gave to being able to get to the top of the temple at the ophidian fort in the desert in T2A. We never made it past the front "gate" (the gap in the mountains) without dying MANY times. was some of the best fun ever though.

I remember spending many hours in there to reach GM Swords/anat/tactics with my first warrior called "Roth 'r' Sarris" (or something like that, it was the bad guy in Galaxy quest lol)

before Aos i hung around Delucia with my guild(SHE) on chessy.
And still with them this day. Have seen many come and many go.And more come here. Before AOS i hunted at Destard alot but now it's not worth going there because theres way too many ppl there for my liking lol.

Shame was THE place to GM swords and tact. Remember running from bloods cause they were the "uber" monster that would own you in 2 hits?

hmmm, pre-AOS, Well to start on Ches I was constantly in the XRoads battles between reds and blues, hung out a lot at Pax Lair and another great player run town Corwyn that had lots of events.

Hell I was scared of orc mages and giant spiders, i'd die to those often!
