<td align="top" valign="left">I have a great propensity for getting stuck. I don' remember how to hop off of boats, doors are a constant source of embarrasment, and I'm usually the last through the gate because I can't <b>get</b>. I've learned to be last and live with it.

Wandering around dead can be a helpful way to learn about a new hunting location. It's not so good when you manage to step right into a pit and get trapped in a gate. Thank goodness for my old friend "HELP". I would have become a retired player due to stuckness if not for the magical teleportation option. I hope this is a option will never become a part of the game that needs to be modified or "levelled"!

I got stuck in a cow pasture!! Jhelom farms/barn
I couldn't move forward, backward, teleport, recall .. nothing
and was surrounded by cows ... couldn't even tip them over!!!

I became stuck in a column in Castle Britannia one time after I had begun passing through walls. GM Cyrus answered my plea to the gods and literally moved me (hah, pun) up & down a few times before disappearing in a pyrotechnic display that was pretty neat.

Sounds kinky, lol!

Anyway, I got stuck in Prism of Light where the arcane circle is. I logged out there and when I logged back in I couldn't find the exit! I still don't know if there is a way out of there without stuck option! lol The ethereal warriors weren't to helpful either... bullies!

hmmm getting stuck in places..? i got stuck in the lost lands once on one of the ledges after being killed by an ozzy, and in numerouse stic ky squares, i cant remember most of them now but yea.. not fun

Alright, alright, I'll admit it. I've been stuck a few times, and the first time I didn't know about the help option, almost deleted that character because I didn't know what to do. I was stuck on the top of Haven bank, used up my last tithing points to get there, didn't know about making sure I had recalls in my runebook (or that I could even do that), luckily I started playing because of Maddux, and he told me about the Help option.

Other times I've been stuck were pretty much because I was new to T-Hunting and assumed every island had a wandering healer... big mistake.

I got stuck inside the Serpent's Hold bank walls once. I was on a new character and asked someone I saw in Cove if they could gate me someplace closer to a moongate. He said sure and grabbed an escort. Next thing I know, he opened a gate so I stepped thru with him and the escort. Well, I popped up inside the walls and being too new to even recall I had to use the help button to escape.

ok....I'll admit, I've been stuck..REALLY stuck. I didn't just run out of scrolls or recall into some stange place. I fell into the sea outside Minoc back in '98. I don't know how I fell into the sea, but I just road my horsey right off that cliff :embarasse . This was in the days before the "stuck" option was available. I waited 2 hours for a GM to come fish me out of the drink.

The first time I got stuck was camping out under a tree in Haven of all places, just below the mining trainers. Thought it was a nice safe place to log out (training camping), was my first and last attempt.
Had to create a new caracter to talk to people at Haven Bank to find out how to free myself LOL. What a twit:grin:
Eventually some nice kind helpful female mage came to my aid.......she passed me a teleport scroll.....it didn't work......
"Have you tried pressing Help?" she asked
I kept my game talk clean whilest the air around me was various shades of blue. LOL

Where was Maddux when you really needed him...

Once I got stuck with my entire guild on the bridge leading into the Evil Mage or Black Mage Lords in lower levels of Shame(?). The bridge is usually as solid as wood, but this evening a GM must have tripped a switch somewhere because a hole opened up beneath us and in we went. Took us quite awhile to figure we could recall out. We were all laughing so hard we were'nt going anywhere in a hurry. Those that stick together get stuck together.

not sure this qualifies as getting stuck in an 'unusual' spot, but...

someone comes to haven looking for help to get his body, puts a rune on the ground and one in our group gates.... we run through, me a little slower on my lousy dial-up, and run right into the ophidian lair... the one spot that is only a couple of squares and blocked all around with no way to run out.. couple of the group made it back out the gate in time, couple of us didnt, including the one who picked up the rune and gated us in.... learned about the 'help' button that day

sad thing is, about a year and a half later, basically had the same thing happen again... luckily the one who gated us in, and myself, made it back out in time and was able to gate again to help the others back out.
