Well I just re-subscribed to UO. I started playing in 98... quit.. came back 2003... quit and just came back again lol. I play on Napa Valley shard and have no idea where everyone is. Is no one playing anymore or am I just in the wrong place. Hanging out in britian

Yeah, I noticed the same thing on GL, severe lack of folks. Of course Malas had just come out last time I logged in and that was already spreading folks thin (Ilsh did the same thing *to a point*) too many facets imho

Well in napa they use to hang in brit and fight in brit fel gate and such. goto luna and you will find people and they fight in Yew.

Personally, my account is closed at this time. The reason being that I used to play in 3D, and now I'm forced to play in 2D, and my gametime happened to run out in the beginning of June. I can't run KR on my current piece of crap computer, and I don't particularly enjoy playing in 2D, so I figured I'll let the account close and buy new game time before July in order to keep the house from falling. Saves me a few bucks not having to pay for June.

Just one story, other folks may have similar reservations regardin KR and aren't playing regularly right now. Or they may be playing more on Test shards in order to fool around with the beta client safely.

Lake Austin is a less populated shard, thats why housing is so available. The majority of people hang out at Luna there though. Some shards West Brit Bank is still popular.

If your looking for people, go to Atlantic. It's the the most populated shard. There are always people at the west brit bank, luna, and skara brae. There are always people doing lady mel as well. If you're looking for people come to Atlantic. But there are downfalls - housing is jam packed, a lot of spawns are usually camped, and there's more *#(@# people.

Ya, this game was pretty much and still is my all time favorite game even though I moved on after a few years. I loved the old days when you coudl be a thief and steal from people at west bri bank.. then when they attack you you kill them with your deadly poisned kryss lol... damn... wish those times were still around ... that was major fun....

So atlantic is the server to be? most populated ? I've been trying to play on siege since it has the old rules but no one is ever at bri bank. What is an old thief to do?
