where do i find paragon birds?

i've looked around in the central ilshinar plains where stratics said they would be, but so far, no paragon birds. i'm gonna farm the crap outa these for minor arties.

Where ever birds spawn in ilish, thats where you find em. Anything can be a paragon when it spawns in ilish, it has like.. x amount of chance to be one... You just have to kill all the birds you see and hope the respawn as paragons..
Good luck with that also, i'd wear lots of luck, but i doubt you will get alot...

well... the area they are in (i found it) is surrounded by strong monsters. too strong for me. anything else i can kill thats paragon but not surrounded by strong monsters?

Unfortunately the chances for an Ilshenar Minor Artifact are based on the fame of the monster. The lower the fame, the less likely an artifact will drop. If you're a really weak character and still want to fight paragons, I'd recommend the Shadow Wisps at the Oaks Champion Spawn, which is North of the Spirituality Shrine. A step up from these are the Hinds and Great Harts at Healer's Grove, which is West of the Sacrifice Shrine. A bit tougher than these are the Earth Elementals and Ettins. Earth Elementals spawn in two safe places in the Ratman Mine SW of the Sacrifice Shrine; Ettins in a valley NE of the Honesty Shrine.

Earth Ele's and Ettins also drop level 1 paragon chests, which can be opened by a GM mage with the Unlock spell. With Earth Ele's and Ettins you'll only get an artifact about every 30 paragons or so.

Getting artifacts from small woodland creatures (as Bugs Bunny calls them) is very difficult. I'd estimate the drop rate at 1 in 50 paragons.

If your looking for easy kills and money witha decent chance of arties...go with swoops in the twisted weld

never mind i killed like 12 paragon shadow wisps and they won't spawn anymore
