What Video card?

I have a Nvida 5200 AGP card, P4 2.4 gig UO KR lags like hell and is unplayable. Should I get a new computer this one is like 3 or 4 years old or get a new video card? If so which one?

How much memory you got in it? That should run the final version. The best performance boost you can get in one shut is to max out your system meory.

RAM is definitely a huge factor in system lag.

Yes I now have a Nvida 5500 AGP card,and am experiencing lag.I think it will resolve itself though as they tweak and twiddle things in the client,over the coming weeks.

After running some tests I realized that Video card plays a very important role in KR.
I have a nvidia 5200 and it lags a lot, I borrowed a Ati9600 XT from a fried and it seems I had a new computer.
You can find this card on ebay for under 50€.

I have a 8800 gtx and the game is somewhat smooth. Yet the overall experience still seems more laggy than on the 2D client

I will say that I upgraded my video card yesterday, from a 256MB Nvidia GeForce 6600 to a 512MB Nvidia GeForce 7950GT, and it makes a WORLD of difference.

Also, make sure you've got the resolution set in KR to properly match your monitor settings. KR does NOT automatically adjust to match your settings.

I have a NVidia Geforce 7300 LE and I am still getting fuzzy pictures. I just bought my computer a few months ago so I would think this is a ok card. Talk to me people!
