what to tame

elloo all.i got a question about taming.what will to tame provide me to have best gaining at 51.1 animal taming?

well it says "44-60 / Horses, again at skara brae near the bank. Plenty of hides to be farmed in fell, perhaps for your tailor or to give your new character an easy boost with money. Also theres stables at serpants hold where horses spawn." at there.i checked it.but it is not easy to find horses.what can i tame rather than horses?

50-60 skill: Brown Bear, Cougar, Alligator, Scorpion, Black Bear, Polar Bear, Llama, Walrus, Grey Wolf, Great Hart, Snake, Giant Spider, Grizzly Bear, Panther, Snow Leopard.

I used polar bears until 70+ then moved to great harts and bulls.

Remember to tame and release and then kill the tame. If you kill it while you still have it you will lose Karma. If there is someone else in the area that is taming as well then tame it, rename it, and then release it but don't kill it. That way the other person can get the gains off your tame as well. If they are the same way you can gain off their tames. What shard do you play on?

Ice island (Dagger Isle) is a great place for taming at that level. I used to tame, rename, and move on. After one full spin around the island, Id kill and skin any that still had the name I gave them.

Good luck with Taming...its slow goings but a whole lot of fun to play when you hit higher levels...

If you can tame polar bears and then gate them to moonglow zoo to donate them, that will give you a added bonus.

yeah, i noticed that.45 points for each.but no magery on that char.

and i think the raise rate is not slow at low skill points.i hit to 59 from 50 in couple of hours.i guess it is getting slower on 70 ies or 80 ies.

Yeah, you will notice a decline at about 80 (if I remember right). Just keep working thru the slump then it picks back up after a couple of points.
