No it's your skill title
Whichever skill you are highest in, determines your skill title.
I think, from the top of my head, Stoic is either Eval Int or Meditation.

In UO terms, a Stoic is a specialist in Focus or Meditation. In philosophical terms, a Stoic believes that pain and illness are to be suffered in silence without complaint. Famous Stoics in history include Seneca and the Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius.

Also, if you dont like being stoic, and you have another skill that is equal to it and would rather be called by that, like you have 110 focus and swords. You can lock the focus, and arrow up swords, and it will change the title.

On my tamer, I have 120 lore, tame and vet, but I rather be called legendary tamer instead of ranger, so I did just that, and boom now showing tamer.

hehehehe.. hes my Oaks char!! Actually I made him years ago before I started pvping, I thought I was hot stuff the first time I brought him to a spawn with my PVM guild. We got taken over very briskly! hehe.. Now I use him for peerlesses, Oaks, and swampy rezzes, seems such a waste of a good 3x legendary tamer

Excellent information Kettlewhistle78 and thatdudenamedbo. Both of you had information I didn't know. I knew it was due to skill level but I didn't know all the names for them and I didn't know that you could choose which you wanted. Gonna go Fix Wild Flower today I think. normally my chars are known as Le, or L, or Leg due to spawn titles.. hehe

gosh it would be nice to see that whole word, but when you keep doin spawns, it changes all the time depending on the last spawn you did, and the length of its title or whatever, you get different stages of Legendary.

Well actually last night, I was just fed up with being Le or Lege, so I turned off monster title display, and now all my characters are correctly displaying their legendary skills! No more The Glorious Nacho Libre, (insert whatever spawn I did last) Leg, now its The Glorious Nacho Libre, Legendary Scholer and The Glorious The Bo, Legendary Swordsman! Ahh it feels good to be whole again.. hehe..
