What Program Do I Use??

Sorry, for once Flutter is wrong. I've read several times where Wilkie and others have said switching user accounts in xp is fine. Using an illegal 3rd party program to do it isn't.

I think it's because in xp the two instances are totally seperate, as if they were on different pcs, but using the other program has to 'fool' the client, and therefore interfere with the data stream - I could be wrong on that, never having been anywhere near the illegal program.

even if it isn't 'illegal' in that sense still sounds kinda weird...and i'm sure there are ways the 'illegal' people can and probably do take advantage of that.

Flutter i would side with you on this, and if it's at all iffy, don't do it. I wouldn't want to risk however many accounts on a ' well i think it might be okay'.

tecnically i think it is legal, personally i use two completly seperate computers to run two uo accounts but then not everyone is like me and has acess to two computers ^.^

I have 4 computers and sometimes run 4 uo accounts at the same time. But when u have as many accounts as I have u have to do that:shocked:

It's an odd situation..because like Cassie said, some people would use this to their advantage.

It seems it would be a nice way to macro something with little risk of being caught, ya know? (Not saying those of you who are using it are farming stuff, just speaking of the usage in general)

Hypothetically, how easy would it be to put one account bouncing around doing a mining macro or something...you pop over to your other XP account and play a normal game...while when a GM shows up your little alarm goes off and you hope back over and save yourself from being banned (yes there are alarms! LOL)

In a way, it coule be a way to unattended macro! That's what bothers me about it..whether is legal or not...

I do the same thing, having 2 computers to run the accts. I use 2 laptops, sitting on my coffee table, and can run stuff from both.

I believe if you are running off a router, they can not tell if you are duel clienting or duel XP. something to do with the router addresses. I am not sure totally what its all about. I am not a very computer savvy person. I know how to build one to make it work and play on em.

Even though I have XP, I've never tried opening 2 clients on my computer. I've always used 2 computers when I need to transfer stuff, but since my monitor died, we're back down to just one computer at the moment
