What is the program you an use to run 2 or more UO accounts at the same time?

someone else told me about XP, how do I go about using XP to run both?

From what I remember, you need to setup a 2nd administrator account

Open UO and login on the first account
Switch to the second user via the Start/Log off button
Open UO on that login and you can transfer stuff etc to the other account

Basically means switching back and forth between users, but that's the only legal way to do it, to my knowledge

Running two XP accounts... running two UO accounts is illegal no matter how you do it.

There is a lot legality issues with running two account on the same computer...I'm not sure what exactly is legal in this case. I've read through the Policies and ROC for UO, and it not in there. But it does say in the support base that: "It is not possible to open two instances of Ultima Online on the same computer...." and this is due to connections and what not, so the support base says.

However remember that leaving your account AFK is a bannable offense and depending what you plan to use this for, it is possible that you could be caught and banned for it.

I wouldn't recommend it...but just realize that there is some risk involved.

Using Two XP User accounts to run two instances of UO, isn't illegal

Ya that had me a little worried. I remember when XP first came out it was deemed illegal, but I had heard by a lot of people that the devs changed their minds on the subject and even found a post on stratics that stated it was ok to run two XP accounts with two seperate UO accounts.

I been using it to transfer pets and such. Flutter kinda freaked me out a bit since she is normally right about these sorts of thingys.

Sorry, for once Flutter is wrong. I've read several times where Wilkie and others have said switching user accounts in xp is fine. Using an illegal 3rd party program to do it isn't.

I think it's because in xp the two instances are totally seperate, as if they were on different pcs, but using the other program has to 'fool' the client, and therefore interfere with the data stream - I could be wrong on that, never having been anywhere near the illegal program.
