I wear now 1482 luck suit and I tend to hunt as a tamer (usually peace bard tamer)...

I have hunted:

Dragons
White Wyrms
Blood Elementals
Rune Beetles
Fan Dancers
Onis

But none of them gives good loot.. I mean.. I get gold and jewels..but not that good items to be honest. Is this normal? (has loot gotten worse?) Or should I change my hunt spots

Swoops and Miasma are out of question 'cause they are always camped...

you might try ice fiends in ice dungeon

Best high end monsters to hunt are White wyrms and Skeletal dragons.
They have the highest loot intensity chance before you get into the hardest monsters/bosses
After those two, is the bone daemon, then the dark fathers/champs/doom bosses.

And skeletal dragons.. well.. since paragons.. not them either. Maybe I give it a try.

ice fiends are tram so no worries of paragons

When I would do the Sphynx with my pets, I had decent training and usually got a decent piece of a loot here and there...

Swoops 4 teh win. Sadly these silly little birds are giving the best loot in the game right now.
Of course I wouldn't take a tamer there because they're hard as hell for tamers to target. Not to mention between my archer vs WW, the wyrm gets a blue corpse and no loot :grin:
Mages and Ev's do well but mele'rs have this thing licked.
Skeltal drags are fun and I love soloing them on my mage but my spot for them on LA up from the minitar dungeon is gone now. Looks like it was an EM spawn but it rocked...Ancient liches, rotting corpses and a Skele drag that respawned as soon as you killed it.
Do the skele drags still release pets?

Nah, skeletal dragons don't release pets anymore, but they really hit hard, so a discorder or peacemaker is a good idea.

Only died once fighting the skele drag and that's cause I'd gotten lazy and kept going offensive when I was poisoned. It threw a revenent at me and between the poison ticks and the rev I kept getting disrupted and couldn't get a mass dispell off. Dragon slayer spellbooks hit it pretty hard. Although I would not flamestrike it whilst bloodoathed >.< ...err nm, that was an ancient lich. Lol, I cast FS, and died instantly...weeeee!
