I was out and about near WBB this morning looking for a few things and from out of nowhere, I had this mindless wanker follow me around and give me all sorts of hassle just because of my guild affiliation.

I mean, I'm all for a little trash-talk when appropriate, but this nitwit was out and out nasty.

Try being in the most hated guild on your shard, like I was. You get harassed everywhere you go, even on the boards..

ummmm maybe he/she was wanting to join the guild?
what if you had offered an invite and he/she accepted ... pvp time :shocked:
(just make sure not to have any good items on ya if ya do though)

ok so im not a fighter but with twerps i just drop cookies and say
"have a great day" and poof i recall !!

That just it though...the screening process to join takes roughly 4-6 weeks and only the guildmaster can extend an invite.

I think this is an issue of someone taking this waaay too seriously.

welp .. could always just laugh and say ... to each his own thoughts ...

if you are really being harrassed in game (meaning they wont leave you alone) and you ask them repeatedly to do so ...

hit the harrass button on the Help area ... (3rd arrow down i think)
and make sure to put in the characters name that is harrassing you
then try to walk away and if they follow just keep saying ...
"I have asked you politely several times now to leave me alone, so please do so"
just keep repeating it .. so that when GM does look into it they will see
in your journal that you have tried to get them to stop and leave you alone.

It states in the roc (or somewhere like that) that we are to try to leave the situation but sometimes we can't and again why should we have to if we are not the instigater in the situation.
Don't fight with them ... let the GM do their part.

I have seen this done a few times and as long as we are not egging the fight on and we really are asking them to please LEAVE ME ALONE everytime the GM has settled it by removing the harrasser ...

It blows my mind that so many people are just out to cause grief. Whenever I had someone giving me any kind of hard time, Id just recall. Go do something else for a bit and then go back to what it was you were doing...

Yes, I realize that you shouldnt have to, but I also realize that any woman that gives birth shouldnt have to go back to work for at least 6 months to a year and most have to go back to work long before that...

There is a bit of difference between being called bad names, and having a baby. roflmao
