UO is always fun and has evoled with the times. We all cant sit in the bleachers of some High School Football game and always wish we never left or times never have changed.

There still alot of places you can find folks cooperatively fighting.. peerless dungeons or the Ophidian invasion locations. We've just moved on to different locations as the game has evolved. Of course some shards cooperate more than others, but almost always there's a friendly group about.

As to the shopping, there I have to agree with you. IRL there are big box stores and the ma and pa shops have gone by the wayside--same in UO, but the big box stores are Luna. So I try to make it a point to search out lesser frequented shops. More fun exploring that way too.

So welcome back. Sure the game has changed, but there's still alot of fun to be had.

thats basically what this ol Mum does :grin: I have more than 100 vendors just in Malas (only have 4 in luna) to serve Sonoma. Our little location is 99.99% spawn free and stocked regularly. (dedication? maybe, but more of the fact that I just don't like to fight but I do love helping fighters, crafters, skill builders, gardners, decorators, and anyone who just needs a hand)

As for community ... thats what UO is all about .. getting to know each other, developing things to do together. Although I don't fight, I am more than happy to lend a hand when folks gather for such things. I can rez you , feed you and heal you all by opening a gate where you find safety

My most memorable in game events have been when I was able to serve the community by coordinating first aid stations for EM events, UO invasions ... every player has a vital role in the community, just have to find your own little niche .... just go have fun and the rest will come your way.

ack.... crafters. Dont know which is worse, Ophidian or Crafter Invasion.

At least the crafters can make things to help defend yourself against the evil beasts

The Dev's only have durability around so I have to deal with crafters.Take away durability, and crafters, less lag. So we have cookies, I will tolerate Chefs.
