What are fukiya darts for?

Probably a noob question, but nobody on my server would tell me when I asked, and I can't find anything about them except they have to do something with ninjitsu somehow. I have a fletcher who can make them and a ninja who I'd like to be able to use them with, so I'm pretty curious. Anyone know?

I think they go in a blowgun. Not sure exactly what its called but I think I remember it being that. I know the shurikin stars go in ninja belts

They are loaded into a blow gun, but are usually laced with Deadly Poison.

Shurikens have to be used over 2 tiles away from your target, Fuikya (sp?) darts have to be used 2 tiles or less.

Oh cool, thanks guys. That's pretty sweet. I'll have to look into getting a blowgun then.

Yah, the darts go into a blowgun called a fukiya (natch). :grin: The darts can be deadly poisoned. A Ninja is the only template that can use Deadly Poison without actually having the Poisoning skill, via the Fukiya and the Shuriken, which can also be deadly poisoned (you still have to have a GM Poisoner available to apply the poison to the fukiya darts and shuriken, though). I believe that Fukiyas can be purchased from provisioners in Zento, and crafted by either the Carpentry or Tinkering skill (can't remember which).

You dont have to have poisoning to use a dp dart or shuriken, but the person applying the dp must have poisoning. Without poisoning your poison doesn't upgrade.
