Well met all!

Well met everyone!

I played UO for a very short time back in 98-99.
I've bought every expansion since, but never came back... lol, silly me!

I picked up The 9th Age when it released and came back for the free 45 days (I think it was 45 days). I just resubbed yesterday to check out KR.
So far I LOVE KR! I know it's got bugs still, but I love it still.

I never got far in UO, never GM'd any skill and never wandered too far out of a main city. When I came back for 9th age I rolled Mithrandolir, and elven Mage/Necro. That's my only character right now, and today i lost my young status and hit "outcast" with my Karma (woot!) and went to Chaos shrine (before I lost young status) and couldn;t get it to lock! lol
I later found out I have to go with positive karma?

Well, having a blast and looking forward to learning the ropes in this game

I bought a full Necro Book and have almost a full mage book now... Mage and Necro are just about 60ish and meditation is reaching 90ish. SS is somewhere around 75ish...

Just plain having fun exploring!

LOVE the New Haven so far!

Hi Mithrandolir..welcome

I joined way back in 1999 too and you'll be glad to know that UO has matured in many ways..not just in game play but also the players too..

There is so much more to UO now than before and I agree totally in that KR is so good- also it is getting better all the time with each patch.

When you wander from New Haven you will be even more surprised.

If you bump into Lorcain..shout me and we'll go hunting sometime

The only thing I miss so far is the old backpack sound.
I have not visited the bank yet... but I guess the bank box sound is gone too?

I see that you are sick. I am too. Haven;t been sick in years... and now I am levelled... going on 4 days now. Have to work a 14 hour day tomorrow and 15 hour day Thursday... grrrrrrrrrr

I use to be on Cats. When I bought 9th age I started on Atlantic.
When I came back yesterday, I just started where I left off, on Atlantic.
