First off.......

Hello all. I started UO back in May of '04 and quit around September of that year in anticipation of the release of EQ2. I have just returned in November and got rolling pretty quick. Rather than playing my main character, I decided to roll a new one out of the Blacksmith template and get reacquained with the game that way. Now I'm really getting back into the swing of things and enjoying the experience. Anyway, greetings to all both new & old players.

Hey everyone, Im pretty new to Uo Ive been playing for about two weeks and well I dont really know what Im doing nor have I met anyone, so im just asking if anyone wants to be my UO buddy. I play on the pacific shard. anyone else???:grin:

Actually we have several that play on pacific. Hopefully some of them will get with you. Just so you know. There are a lot of helpful people on this forum. So if you can't get an IG buddy you will find several forum buddies

There is also a large group of us on UOF that play on Lake Austin. If you would like to play on different shards.

Hi everyone,

I just joined these forums today after finding out about them from Queen Mum, in game. (Thanks, Mum!)

I played UO since it came out until about 2001 and started up a new account a couple months ago now to come back and play. So, I was away for about 5 years and it almost feels like no time has passed -- yet in other ways, with all the changes since then I sometimes feel like I'm playing a whole new game --- which, I guess I am!

Anyhow, I play on Sonoma (then and now) and had characters in several guilds over time, including YMCA, Warlords [WL], Morte de Virtus [MV] and Dark Tower [DT]. Right now I'm guild-less on all characters.

I look forward to reading these forums and maybe meeting a few more of you in game!
