EA wouldn't sell the rights to UO, even if they trashed the game
They'd rather keep a hold of the name/copyright so no one can use it and so it doesn't compete with their other mmorpgs, like Warhammer online/daoc.
Least, that's my thoughts.

I have an idea. We could pool all of our UO gold and items......Sell it for RL cash and buy UO that way.
Right now we could all have bots running grams to make billions of UO gold since no one is working for UO ATM. We could raise millions in a weeks time.

Grizz you started like 10 posts in an hour =P Quit spamming! lol ... And I dont believe UO is looked at as a "cash cow" ... It's losing great amounts of people daily and will only continue to do so. The only way I could see the UO franchize making big money again...is if the UO2 project was re-opened and designed with the same degree and care that the original devs had when they created UO.
