Are you asking if I have cast them or suggesting I do? I probably have cast them but they should be gone by now and not affecting my resists especially since I did ward removal, or at least that's what I was told to do.

How does one get to Spirit in Ilsh?

Actually jfk was referring to twisted wield just west of the Spirituality moongate in ilsh. If you have never been in twisted wield you will need to see Calendor (sp?) who is in heartwood and get the quest to kill dreadhorn. Other wise you can't get in

Actually, I don't think they are tougher...but spell casting monsters seem to cas a lot faster than a player character.

For magic reflect and protect (arch protect too), they are permanent now, unless recast. Each will affect your resists.
1) Total up your actual resists from each piece of armor. If resists are not equal to your displayed resists:
2)Cast protect, watch your resists. Then recast if that did not fix it.
3) Cast reflect, watch your resists. Then recast if that did not fix it.

I am betting it is magic reflect (due to the high physical). P.S. What do I win for the first bet on your resists?

As a strategy tool, the water Ele can cast all types of damage spells, so you want some balance between cold, fire, energy, and poison. Physical is really not an issue on a boat. Same with Sea Serpents, the breath weapon is fire.

For the cash flow problem, save all your white pearls. They normally sell for around 10-20K each!!! Sell them in lots of 10. Save your MIB's and colored fishing nets (looks like 2500 to 50K on your shard, depending on color). You can sell ANCIENT MIB's and nets for MASS gold.

Check around luna on Cheesy and find a shop advertising vendor rental space. I can see from searchuo.com that there are no major fishing vendors currently stocked there.

For the next logical question, what are the pearls used for, check uo.stuff.com. It's not listed on that portion of the site, but tinkers can also use them (in batches of 10) to make bracelets with up to 6 properties with 100% intensity (artifact level!).

To get to spirituality in Ilsh, go to any moongate, click on ilshenar, then spirituality. The swoop guide link I gave you in the other post has pictures (courtesy of Merth). I suggest you hold off on that until you get your resists fixed though.

Yeah, I had cast protection never really knowing what it did. I would never have guessed one had to recast it to cancel it out. Who designs this stuff anyway? ::snort::

I got my resists up to fifties average finally with armor and jewelry. Sure is a lot to learn in this game... SO much more complicated than the old days and that is very cool. Though I still feel like a noob after a total of 5.5 years at the game. LOL
