I remember in one of those early videos of KR where the developers gave a sneak peak of the game to a few lucky UO players who could travel to the where it was being held. In the videos put up of that event on you tube you saw the developer go near a pond and in it was water that was very animated. The developer made a comment that the water tiles in the pond were meant for the sea which is was why the water was a bit to animated for a small pond

As all of you may have noticed the coastline water in KR is anything but animated. It’s pretty static right up to the point it touches the coast, even then it’s only a small animation. I’m curious to find out if the water in the beta is the final look or will the sea water we saw in that event video be added later? Since there’s meant to be things missing in the beta client as it is. It will be pretty disappointing if this is how they attend the sea to be as their first choice was a much better imho. I'm also surprised they didnt' animated the tree's like the old 3d client did.

I agree that more animation in the sea water would be nice. The fountain water and waterfalls look excellent in KR. I hope they extend the new water to the sea!
