Yes, I always keep updates done. It DOES work on Vista x64 as I have had it working before. But it was a long long time ago, when it was first released and because it was so rubbish, I went back to 2D. In the meantime I had done lots of updates. So now it doesnt work

Mic its a real shame that you havent been able to play KR so far.My suggestion would be to send a copy of this thread,via PM to Jeremy. She will see that you have been trying everything you can,and may have a suggestion that hasnt yet been offered.

I just got KR because of the Welcome Back campaign.

Can't log in.

I WAS IN THE KR BETA AND HAD IT WORKING.
Now that the final is out, I hit Login and nothing happens (the program is NOT locked up, the other buttons work just fine).

I contacted support but never recieved a reply.

There are so many different 'issues' with KR log ins'I really cant suggest a solution,without much more info.

All I would suggest is that you follow the links above and look for a fix there.

Or send in a feedback report.

If you still hear nothing,I would send an email to jdalberg@ea.com

Put in a Subject title [ ie KR loggin problems] as she must get a ton of mail, and hopefully in a few days you will get some kind of repsonse.

I would include your system specs to, or a EAsyinfo report.

Sorry to hear about your issue. It was me who first started this thread on here and on stratics, I went through all the motions trying to get the bloody thing working and it would not. EA Tech support said they couldnt help because they did not know what the issue was, they blamed it on a firewall/router issue which is NOT the case.
I reformatted my computer and now it works, it is something we are installing that is making it not work, an update of some sort or a program. I have kept monitoring what I am installing and checking the game everytime to see what is stopping it.

Currently the only fix is to reformat your computer, a clean wipe and fresh install of Vista x64.

Unfortunately thats not an option for me.
I have about 300 gig worth of games/mmorpgs/patches to download.

It'll take me like 4 days to patch all the MMOs again as well as losing all the other important data.

Thought though, you had the beta installed?

Perhaps there is a rogue registry value leftover from the beta KR install that is conflicting with the final

Intel Core 2 Duo e6700
NVidia XFX 8800GTX 768
Corsair XMS2 DDR2 4gb RAM
320GB HDDx2
Resolution 2560x1600
running the latest NVidia drivers, as well as the Microsoft patches. (Could this be it??)


Also I need x64.
The software I use for business requires x64 to render (specifically Lightwave).
I just happen to also use it for gaming as it runs very well
