How do Vet rewards work? I have an old account which I stupidly didn't reactivate from 98. If I reactivate it will I have any vet rewards?

Accounts are only given vet rewards based upon ACTIVE months.

You get bumped up to the next tier of vet rewards for every 12 months your account is active.

But there is a grace for many very old accounts such as yours. I reactivated an account that had gone inactive in October or November of 1997, and upon reactivation recieved the full time's worth of veteran rewards and account age. It was a one time deal put in place when the vet reward system was first introduced. Your account should reactivate and be credited with the past 8 or so years.

So the short answer is yes, you'll get some very nice vet rewards and have a very old account.
