I'm sure it's listed somewhere, maybe here in a dusty post somewhere near the back, or maybe at UOGuide.

According to what I've been able to find at various sites, the vermin slayer works on the following:

Ratmen
Giant Rats
Sewer Rats
Barracoon the Piper

I don't know if that's the complete list, it's all I could find.

DiP, as usual

is correct. We have a talisman section in the common FAQ sub-forum, under ITEM FAQ.
I will be updating the mage slayer properties with the FoF answer now as well.

The common FAQ section is the first link in my signature. Give it a whirl. LOTS of good info over there.

Whenever I would do a baracoon spawn, I wore mine. That with a soul seeker, you lay serious waste to that spawn. Excellent combo of items.

Also remember talis only affect melee damage...mages get no lovin!
