i soloed vanguards alone with my chiv/archer with ease, once they are dismounted they are nothing.

What type of bow are you using? Do you have Bush as well? I am thinking of bringing my archer there but, she isn't skilled up much. Perhaps it would be a good chance to skill up. :p I'm just troubled by the spawn since she doesn't have even close to max stats.:/

There is NO event !!!! It is all a lie!!!! I have looked for hours !!! Ran from town to town and NOTHING !!!!

An event is something that really happens! What can the Devs be thinking ! In order for people to take part in the event it has to happen more than once or twice a day !

In the real world you have to make things happen if you want a paycheck. The devs just need to pretend to do something !

So no event no pay check, I just closed an account!

Dont Let the Devs get away with poor performance! If you have more than one account. Close one ! Let them know they must WORK to get a paycheck not just talk about it !

Sorry bud, I'd rather suggest changes for the game than close one of my accounts down in protest. That's gone on for years and it's gotten few results other than there being less players.

We've all got to band together and make events like this more fun, even if there's a waiting period between spawns,

I'm going to find something to do either in-game or IRL to keep me occupied.

Besides, the spawn happens on both facets near simultaneously, about once an hour if the timespan between spawns is any indication.

Day one was slow, day two every 2.5 hours or so, and now we're getting them hourly.

The devs designed this event to be on a sliding scale that would decrease the cool-down for the spawn timer, appears it happens on a daily basis.

They did listen to our suggestions. If you choose to close your accounts in protest, you simply won't be there to see it.

I for one, won't go down without a fight, and our current development team deserves a round of applause for fighting to make the game better.

Anyone know if they're still only spawning in Cove? Or if they're now turning up in other cities?

I've only seen them in cove, but they were supposed to be spawning in other cities. Specifically where in said cities (I've heard Delucia, Cove, Serpent's Hold, and Nu'jelm) I have no clue, nor have I seen any in those cities.

Perhaps I just have bad timing?

I've checked the others periodically and so far have not encountered spawns outside of cove.

"Ok I just found this out myself. That the Vanguards spawn at midnight in game. So if you have one those wrist watches (or holiday timepeices) they gave out years ago use it to time the spawn. For those who have forgotten a UO day is 2 real hours long. Meaning that the spawn comes every 2 hours in game." Vallend.
