To me this is turning into a bit of a non-event. they appear in cove and in under an hour they are all dead and almost 24 hours later and still no reappearance

It was fun during the spawn, I helped kill 3 vanguard, got a sword; and tamed 2 warhorses, but this long wait for the next spawn is boring

My guess is that player power was underestimated - they probably weren't expected to be killed off so quickly and easily (to be honest I didn't notice what you'd consider better AI - no running, no paralysing players, no combos, nothing that would make them seem unpredictable).

Sods law says that, whilst the rift activity went on for ages, this week will be the only week of the invasion - final week of uni when I have to get heaps of work done.

Well..... I never saw one thing..... so I'm fairly dispointed..... alot of hype for 4 or 5 min of invasion that 90% of the population never even saw. Sad if you ask me.

I am still optimistic, again they say focus on the invasion will be on this coming week. Also there are to be further turn-in's and we will need stuff to turn in

As stated elsewhere this is just the vanguard of the attack so I wouldn't expect wave after wave of enemies to start spawning just yet..think of these weekend attacks as scouting parties, which would account for their small, sporadic appearances. Then as the week goes on and (presumably) the main attack force draws closer the attacks will ramp up in frequency as more enemies can reach the 'frontline'. This is how I'm expecting them to run this epic Shadowlord attack anyhow, maybe the focus group will convince them that we players want EVERYTHING RIGHT NOW..meh

Good perspective Risso .. reminds me of the Moonglow invasion a few years back when the 'scouts' were around a few days before everything hit .. for 4 days straight

that was a blast!

Seems things are picking up, at least on cats! 2 spawns in the last couple hours.
